Talking about turning pages, the new Kindle Oasis a new e-Ink technology that makes turning pages seem a lot smoother and more natural. And if you don't want to use the buttons, you can either swipe or tap on the screen to turn pages - which is a standard feature in all Kindle devices. But if you are not a fan of that order, you can change the setting to work backward and forward. The buttons on the side of the display allow users to turn pages forward and backward. It comes with all the Kindle-y features that you can think of. It is also the fanciest e-book reader that you can buy in India (and elsewhere). The Kindle Oasis represents the best of what Kindle has to offer. But if you have a varying reading schedule, adjusting the warmth setting with time of day is a better option for you. It's also because my use of Kindle and by extension reading is primarily restricted to late evenings. Personally, I found scheduling the warmth setting is far more efficient and easier than fiddling with it every time there is change in light conditions. Scheduling the warmth setting would mean that you Kindle Oasis to turn a couple of shades warmer between a specific period of time. And if you don't want to play with your display settings every time you pick up the Kindle Oasis, you can also schedule the warmth settings. Of course, you will have to play with the brightness and warmth settings a bit to get the right shade on screen, but that's not exactly a difficult task. Interestingly, this setting also allows you to achieve a screen colour that resembles the real books. Just like the brightness settings, there are 24 points to the warmth settings which allow you to adjust the screen warmth from zero, which is how the screen would look without the setting, to 24, which is a deep shade of sepia with the screen resembling an old book. The 10th generation Kindle Oasis comes with warmth settings, which enables you to better adjust the colour of screen as per your comfort level. The most important feature that is really separates the new Kindle from the old is the warmth settings.
